The first 20+ years of his career were largely spent in higher education serving as Campus Minister and adjunct professor at University of Hamburg, Florida State University and Auburn University. In his mid-40s Jurgen transitioned from academia to serve in the corporate business world. At the outset of this new venture, he served The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as its founding Corporate Director of Professional Development for about four years. Eventually he established his own consulting firm. focusing on his unique take on co-creatng “corporate cultural dynamics” with The Coca-Cola Company, Crystal Cruises, Kempinski Hotels, BMW of North America and Turner Broadcasting, among others.
Throughout his consulting career, Jurgen heeded “the call” to create environments that “nurture the soul.” The invention of “vibro-acoustics” by Olaf Skille (Norway, 1985) was the impetus for creating his immersive, full-sensory spa experience: sancTorum, meaning “whole,” “holy.” Today, sancTorum SoundSpa has proven the delivery of a profound sense of wholeness/oneness and s state of blissful wellbeing!
